iPhone 4s with ios6 signal issues

Im using iPhone 4s with iOS 6, every time i finish a call my signal drops to 0 bars and goes to no service and then automatically gets full signal within a few seconds, this happens every time i finish a call. I was not having the same issues with iOS 5 ot ios 6 beta 4.

Thanks Srinivas

We have 4 users here at my office all with an Iphone 4s, and we all upgraded to IOS6 at about the same time. Since then, we have had extremely poor to no service at all. This happens in areas that once worked fine, albeit in low to medium coverage, but was never a problem. I called Apple and started a support ticket about it and all they are doing is passing the buck and saying it's a carrier issue. it's obvious this is not the truth as evidenced by all the above posts. Pathetic.

Same problems too. The signal bar unstable between 4 bar and No Service. Others calling to my phone usually busy. This seems to encounter after upgrading to iOS 6. I have compared it to other phone using the same provider as I am, that phone signal bar is stable at max. Oo my gosh, this phone is really annoying now....

Please fix this ASAP apple!!!

I am in the UK with provider Vodafone.

In my office at work I had perfect signal - full bars and 3G coverage. I upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 and now, whenever I make a call, go on the internet, access my emails or anything else....the phone decides it has no signal and spends 3-4mins "Searching....."

My iPhone 4S didn't do this after the 6.0 upgrade - it's only started doing it in the last week.

This is so annoying - I previously used a Samsung Galaxy SII and if Apple don't sort this stupid problem out, guess what's getting switched back on?......

I thought Apple were supposed to be the best?!

Vodafone are calling me back in a minute so if I get a result from them I'll post it up.

Just to confirm Nads approach worked for me. Update the phone in recovery mode.

"

1. Backup your Iphone with Itunes

2. Shut down the Iphone, disconnect it from your PC

3. Hold down the Home Button and connect it to your PC. Hold the Button until Itunes states, that the Iphone needs recovery

4. Start the recovery process

Im having exactly the same problems.

No bloody signal!! I have got 6.1.3 ios on my phone.

My problems also stretch to not being able to use any of my navigation software, tune in radio, or anything similar that needs a signal.

Its total tripe but was previously fine.

I recently had to take my 4s to apple and have it replaced, this was about a month ago, but there is no extended warrenty with apple!!

I apsolutely hate my Iphone, I have had android previusly, the support is shocking, the phone is unusable and I am currently considering cancellingmy direct debit with T mobile, under the grrounds that they are not forefilling there side of the contract and that is me having a phone that works!!

This is an apple forum, where are the mods or admins on here trying to help us??

Same here. My flat is like the bermuda triangle....

Had my iphone4 for nearly 2 years so contracr is due for renewal soon.

Never had any issues with signal previously, then after updating to ios6, i have constant dropped calls. I cannot make a call from my own living room without the call dropping. I live in a 1st floor flat (there are only 3 floors, ground,1 and 2). Before ios6 I never had any dropped calls and always had full signal. Then io6 update and bam! down to 1-2 bars (3 at the most which never stays longer than a few seconds) and every single call dropping.

Its so bad I cant even walk around my living room because if I move spots the signal drops. I have to sit on the sofa, ensure I have signal and then put my ear piece in to make the call and stay sitting where I am, which totally negates the whole point of having a mobile phone! Its ridiculous!!

In my office my phone constantly says "searching" or "No Service". if i'm lucky from time to time I get 1 bar. I have to put my phone on charge half way through the day because the battery is being drained so much due to the phone constantly trying to find a signal.

I'm bow on update 6.1.3 and the situation hasnt improved in the slightest.

Now it would sem to me that if the carrier was the problem, as apple tries to suggest to people when it passes the buck, then its funny how I never had any signal issues for the first year of my contract and then the minute I do an ios update my signal goes to mush? It doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out the issue is with the manufacturer not the carrier.

I am also experiencing the same "Searching...." and "No Service" issue from the last three days. I was in a basement where 4 signals were usually appear and i dialed a call and the call dropped. I went back home where usually i experience 5 full signal strength but my phone went into searching no service state and since then i am having trouble. that's hillarious because i was intending to buy 5S in a week time but iphone gave me a big punch. Tell me, should i go to repair shop or the signal problem can be sorted out by myself too? I am using iOS 7.0.4 which was upgraded almost months ago. umar241@gmail.com or 00923224532138 or omar.saeed241@skype or umar241@icloud.com on fb
