iPhone 5 wifi issues

Did a restore and now it works okay. But, the Passbook does not. Fixed it on my wife's 4S but so far I can't fix it on the new one. On hold for a senior advisor.

i feel bad for you all.. i got mine this morning an i got no wifi problems or any problems yet. so i don;t think is all phones having a problem.

Just tried General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Phone rebooted, found wifi, re-entered password, same problem.

Same issue. Using wifi at two homes its painfully slow or times out. Turn wifi off and use AT&T 4g it's blazing fast. All other devices working fine on wifi except iPhone 5. :(

Same issue - no data from secured WiFi networks (work - WPA2 Enterprise or home WPA2 Personal - Apple Time Capsule, latest firmware/hardware.) Drop security and it works fine.

Tried switching to WEP and that did the trick. iPhone 5 doesn't seem to like wpa2 security on routers. Internet on phone works fine now. They need to fix this issue

Argh, my Time Capsule doesnt have an option to switch to WEP. 😟

Bryan, can you turn security off to see I'd that helps?

I'm having the same issue I just got my iPhone 5 from AT&T this morning. it conects to the WiFi, but the data flows like very slowly. 😮

Same issues here for me trying to connect tp WPA/WPA2, connects fine, full signal. Dies after a few seconds.

Works with WEP or no security.

Same problem with WPA2 here. Got extremely slow speeds (around 500 kbps), changed to WEP and now get 8+ Mbps. iPhone 4 and iPad 3 speeds are good on both WEP and WPA2.

I restored my iPhone and now it works fine with my wifi connection now.

I tried that same thing, and I still had the issue. For me, it's all related to WPA.

I have the 4S in having the some issue it started after I update the new software. iOS 6.0 Apple need to fix this NOW

Same issue for me too. Using WiFi and WPA2 on iPhone 5 and it is so slow it is not useable.

Turned off WiFi for now and using LTE from home which is REALLY fast!

Please fix this Apple!
