iPhone 5 wifi issues
My iPhone 5 connects to wifi networks and remembers them, but receives absolutely zero data through the network. LTE and 3G no problem... Off to the repair shop (after 3 hours of ownership...) or any ideas??
iPhone 5, iOS 6

some are very frustated as if this is the end of the world just for wifi issues only, oh men, what the **** is going on here?
When you pay several hundred or more for a device we'd appreciate it working as designed. Why wouldn't we?!?!
Anyone with wifi issues also having cell signal issues?
I have problem with wifi and my iPHone is MD model !!!!;(((((
It seems that is "MD" models with wifi issue. Anyone to confirm that is not correct. Annyone with trouble wifi with >non MD model<??????
Mine is ND model...... S h i t. WIFI s s h ii t t iPhone
Cr...p. my theory not standing ://
Mine is an "MD". If this is true and the faulty phones all fall into a certain model group then shame on Apple for not issuing a recall notice!
oh well, nice theory while it lasted :-)
LeraVent, if the download was fast when near the router <1meter, but get slower or dropped out when your were >2 meters away. You probably have bad H/W. go get replace.
I meant bad iPhone 5 hardware (H/W) if its speed is snail. No software can fix H/W problem.
I exchanged my iPhone5 and the problem gone. Now it is as good as my iPad2.
Mine is MD model, no wifi issues, video streaming ridiculously very fast, batery life last up to 2 1/2 days, no issues at all, in short its not about the model,
Pao2, if you are connected to 5GHz router then no issue. In my case the issue only happened with 2.4GHz connection.
Seriously considering to send my iPhone in Munich, to the apple store to replace it. Just moving around the routers bcs my i5 cant see any wifi network from 4 m distance :((
mine either 2.4 or 5 its working
