iPhone 5 wifi issues
My iPhone 5 connects to wifi networks and remembers them, but receives absolutely zero data through the network. LTE and 3G no problem... Off to the repair shop (after 3 hours of ownership...) or any ideas??
iPhone 5, iOS 6

mine is Apple too. Wifi ***** 😟
mine is Apple too...now what??
So Apple can find resources to do a release to update the audio profile for the speakerphone in 6.1.4 but cant spare some time to fix the wifi? Seriously?

Oh ya and my update 6.1.4 failed lol
Oh ya I forgot, if I want wifi to work I have to turn it on and off so it will work for 5 mins just to stall again
Yup. I get that. Worse, over time wifi will slow to a crawl, not just stop working. That's when switching Airplane Mode on and off wil get wifi back to full speed.
In a few minutes 100KBps will only upload around 30MB and downloading 30MB in the background will take me like 15-20 seconds, and my videos go for 20+ minutes... This will not work for me.
TJ888,
That is okay, the video buffer should fill in time.
What iOS version are you right Now? 6.1.4?
They gave me with 6.1.3 and I dont update
Cool, thanks for the info.
Great, my iPhone has an Apple chip. 😠
Probably because it was tested on their open network. Have them test it on their hidden backroom wifi which I believe is WPA2, so the issue should appear.
