Ok I have installed IOS 6 on to my iPad 3. This IPad 3 is a wifi only device as I do not have a data plan with one of the phone carriers.
After the IOS 6 upgrade I do not see or cannot find SIRI functionality. I have looked in Settings / General and Restrictions. Is SIRI only available foe devices with a data plan? Seems it should work when wifi connected but literature does not say so.

Hello, I have ipad 3 + cellular... But I cant see siri too... My aunt bought the same ipad and she has siri...why is that so?
Just solved same exact problem - if siri is greyed out under restrictions no matter if they are enabled or disabled - then siri is being restricted by a third party profile installed by a business or school. - removing the profile in settings fixes the issue.

Thanks to andymorgan3 for this... I did it back and forth a couple of times and, sure enough, you can have Siri OR restrictions, but not both.

Post the Model number found in Settings->General->About->Model here.
