Just got my iPhone five out-of-the-box and I noticed there is a wavy line at the bottom and the top of the screen that is slightly discolored. Not very noticeable when running some apps but when you have your email or your message app it's very noticeable. Appears that it's a screen issue. Anyone else have this?

me too. only somethimes though, like when I am typing into a field.
Did getting a new phone fix the problem? I still have my suspicions it is a software issue.

I have same issue but it seems to only happen when typing is required!
Had my iPhone 5 32gb replaced because of this issue, and the new phone has the same problem that appears once or twice a day when the keyboard is used to type, definitely a software bug
It was a software glitch. The 6.0.1 solved it and it only happened when you were typing in your password for the app store. Cheers. 🙂
I have upgraded to 6.0.1 and am still having this issue. I have only noticed it when I am entering my password for iTunes or the App store.
Am on 6.1.3 and it's still happening on a variety of screens/functions and often does it while not being used at all. Not convinced by the software fix yet.
