Scuffs/Scratches On New iPhone 5 Right Out Of The Box

Just opened my iPhone 5 which I ordered from Apple.com. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed nicks and scuffs in the bezel. I realize that at some point this might happen from normal wear and tear, but right out of the box is unaccepted. Is Apple aware of this and if so, what can be done to get this taken care of?

I received my first one on the 4th it was black with a small paint chip on the bezel near attena on the bottom. The second black one i got on the 10th (the one im using now) is in perfect mint condition. I just decided I like the white one better. The black got boring to me. Ready for a change. But both phones ive had the headphone jack is in place and not uneven.

"I talked to an African American..."

Great. Along with everything else, a racist rant.

"I said 'well it's kind of a long story"'and he said 'How long?' and he looked at the time on his iPod touch...

I said, 'do you have somewhere to be?'"

You're the one who started with the inane "well it's kind of a long story". In truth, though, it isn't. It's something similar to this: "I bought an iPhone and, when I inspected it, I saw that it was cosmetically flawed."

That's not a long story and, apparently, it's the complete truth. The rest of your childish patrois isn't worth commenting about. Drama queens, no comments necessary.

"I hate you Apple. I hate you so much. As soon as my contract is up, I'm chucking this phone in a river."

OK. Have a nice life. See you around the bend. Keep your sense of humor.

notwithstanding the fellow's character flaws, he was treated very poorly by apple and those in apple's employ. the guy drove 350 miles for a new phone and was given the run around, also was told he would be called back and wasn't. i can see how he would be angry.
