i have tried to use my New maps on the IOS 6 and the turn by turn navigation is no way as easy to use as people have displayed in Youtube videos and stuff i have no voice in the maps and it doesnt redirect me at all has anyone else had this problem on the iphone 5??

Do you have blutooth audio on? this happened to me, noticed when i changed car stereo to phone audio input the directions were coming throught the stereo.
I don't know if this will help you, but it worked for me.
When I updated to iOS 6 and started using the new Maps App, it had transfered over recent directions that I had used in Google Maps. If I tried to get Turn by turn voice on one of those old destinations, voice did not work.
However, entering a new directions search from scratch did the trick -- turn by turn WITH voice.
Try entering a new search and see if that helps.

Strange enough, voice worked only when my route started from my current location (and not the address of my location that I had manually entered).

i just found this page. im having the same problem with my maps, it's not following where i go and thus i dont get the turn-by-turn voice.
i dont know if Indonesia has the service available or not.

I have this problem, but it only seems to happen when I am walking, the weird thing is, it gives the initial "start on whatever st heading north" verbally (which is frustrating if you don't know which way is north) and then every time I reach a point where it thinks I should turn, the direction visibly changes to "start on new st" but says nothing. It should say "turn right on new st"! and verbally!
This worked for me. I had to put in the address, Select the destination, press route, then start. That's when I hit the volume up button on the side of my phone & got siri speaking again
