I have purchased a non contracted iphone 5 after my iPhone 4S would no longer turn on. I am a buiness customer, and have been having substaintial quality concerns with Apple divices. I have had my last iPhone 5 replaced for 3 reasons, my phone would go into mute mode when I recieved a calendar invite over Microsoft exchange, there was a rattling noise in the phone, and no matter where I went my reception was worse than my old 3gS.
I was really frustrated and made them replace the phone after they told me they wanted to try and fix it. NO WAY! I have been in the apple store 5 times in the last 30 days all for iPhone product support issues. Well I guess I will be going back....
The most recent problem is that the phone gets VERY hot...to the point it is uncomfortable to the touch...the battery is draining in a total of 4-5 hours. i am nt going to be turning off my cell network as suggested. I have all apps off, wifi on, and this is happening. It wasnt even this bad with my iPhone 3GS. Not acceptable to be turning things off. At this point I would consider filing a lawsuit against apple for product issues. Everytime I go intof the store I have to replace the device and then restore it when I get home. I have wasted way to many hours doing this.
I am an apple fan, but yikes. I have 6 iPads, 5 iPods, 1 Mac book Pro, 2 Macbook Airs, and thunderbolt, and have owned 6 different iPhones. I think the devices are beautiful, but the iPads only last a max of 1.5 years so far, Iphones longer, but once the glue unsticks on the old iPhones, they are wohtless. The old iPods have all lasted, I dont know what apple can change, but they need to do something or they are going to be having another late 80's experience.
RECALL FOR SURE..>This is the second device I have had in the past 15 days, same problems on both. The rattling noise is back in this phone as well...what the **** is going on...And whay would Apple start painting their phones!?!? Steve is rolling over in his grave!
