Add to iPhoto not working from Mail app

Same problem here. I reported it to them via Mail.

Mail menu -> Provide Mail Feedback and let them know about it.

Also, I think the easiest workaround (at least for me) is to hit the save button which saves all photos to the downloads folder. Then open downloads, highlight all the files and drag to iPhoto. If you sort your downloads folder by "Date Added" it will keep them all together.

Latest OSX update 10.8.2 Supplement 1 has not fixed the issue either

We just found this isn't working this morning either. Our 'work round' is to open image in Preview and in the sharing option menu in the menubar for the app, the last option there is Add to Iphoto and this appears to be working.

Same here, when's the update coming? Come on Apple, this just doesn't work.

The easiest is just to drag the pictures unto the iPhoto icon.

I would appreciate it if Apple would simply check out things before they make changes. This is a fairly basic function and I don't see why they would destroy the function.

This is a place for users to help other users - if you want to contact Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback or call Apple - These inane posts accomplish nothing and get in the way of people who have legiminate questions that can be answered.

If you want to waste your time RANTING go out and RANT to a tree - it will do just as much good and does not get in other people's way

It is what it is and it will be fixed when it is fixed - here we can only help with what is - and what is is that it does not work - no amount of RANTING will make one iota of change in that

iPhoto seems to have developed other problems also having to do with import and export. But we can save that for another day.

It is Apple unworthy. Since latest OSX update 10.8.2 we can no longer add mail pictures to iPhoto.

Apple do something about it !

The problem is with 10.8.2. No point in issueing isntructions to Apple from here as they won't read them here.

iPhoto menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback to tell them what you want.
