iPhone 5 Bluetooth issues with car

My iPhone 5 is having issues with Bluetooth and my car. It pairs with no problem and I can make calls with no problem. If my phone rings and I try to answer it with the car Bluetooth controls the call picks up then immediately goes back to listening to the radio... But the call is still connected and the phone thinks its still connected to "my car". So I need to quickly pick up the handset and switch the source to phone or the other person will hang up. If it helps the car is a 2010 Infiniti. Any ideas? I already tried re-pairing it. I also tried resetting the network settings.

Thanks in advance

I'm having same issue with brand new 2012 Infiniti QX and 2013 Infiniti M37x. My wife's iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.1 works fine but my iPhone 5 with same OS won't recieve calls (they connect, but I can't hear caller and they can't hear me). Based on this I believe it's an Apple issue related to iPhone 5, not the OS. Very frustrating as it basically removes the benefit of vehicle handsfree. Dear Apple, please fix ASAP...thanks!

From the release notes iOS only addresses a wifi bug; also it is available for only iPhone 5, so it won't help those with older phones running iOS 6.

This has been going on since iOS 5 (I have a Verizon iPhone 4). I have called both Apple and Infiniti (I have an '08 G35) and visited the Genius Bar twice. Apple doesn't seem to care.

I am in the market for a new phone after Christmas and will seriously consider an Android if this isn't fixed. My car has a manual transmission and it is unsafe (even more so than most cars) to use the phone without a handsfree system.
