My Apple Mail does not seem to work when sending emails using my gmail account. I receive emails just fine, the issue only exists when sending mail. I have tried ports 10, 25, 465, and 587 with and without SSL. I always end up with the error that Apple mail cannot connect to the SMTP server. I have tried searching and couldn't find any solutions. Any help would be great!

I've tried this many times while changing ports and SSL settings.
Delete the account, and re enter it.
If its an IMAP account you will not loose anything
Sorry, I should've mentioned I've deleted it twice already.
If you use ichat I would love to take a peek at it
This is the answer most of the time, assuming the captcha unlock does not work
I think this is more likely Apple Mail's fault rather than Google Apps'.
