Also has anyone else noticed the quality control at apple slipping since Steve passed away? Could just be a coincidence as any company will lose quality as they grow and demand increases. But the fact that 2 of the last 3 movies I purchased in iTunes were faulty is not a good sign. I love apple products and I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come

I guess my "report a problem" through iTunes

Store->View My Account->Purchase History

then find the item, and to the left of the item price there is a "report problem" link.

Anyway, it worked. I didn't get a repsonse or any email, all I know is I got a "Refund Credited" for $19.99.

I also downloaded the movie on my macbook...same issue.

Sad

Well looks like they did refund my purchase and then took the movie away. So now my account has not been credited back the amount and I dont have my movie anymore! This may very well be the last time I buy a movie off iTunes. I wanted "The Avengers!" Now I have an account that is 20 less and I dont have the movie I bought. F*&%KING ******!

Gosh, you people are so impatient. Don't you think Apple and the movie companies want a working version up there so they can make money off you? It's probably a matter of having the department in the media company that did the encoding get it right, then sending the correct version back to Apple for them to put back on their web site so you can re-download it.

What does patience have to do with it. I spent 20 dollars on a movie so I expect it to be what I paid for. If you bought a DVD or blu ray that was defective you would return it to the store you bought it from. This is te exact same thing their just isn't a physical disk. Besides why would I wait to hope they fixed something and then they don't and I'm stuck with it.

They are all identical because the two sets are burned into the movie, there is no way to switch them off, they are part of the picture, the subtitles and calosed captioning are both turned off on my apple TV and they still appear, they are also identical on the actual file playing back on Mac, iPad, iPhone ect - it's part of the finished movie, until they fix it we are stuck with them. The only fix is to put duck tape across your TV!

Well this just keeps getting worse! They gave me a refund and had me purchase The Avengers again. Guess what?...Same issue! So they refund my money again and of course remove the movie. I think they are missing the picture. I would like to have the movie. Just want one that works properly and if I have to live with double subtitles then I should at the very least get refunded for it. Man iTunes is seriously going down the tubes. 😐

Interesting thing happened:
If you go to iTunes Store Support, fill out a case report and submit and then go into Service and Support and view all your submitted cases, the case I just filled out is marked as "Closed".

I didn't even get an email from Apple acknowledging that I submitted a report.

If I do a search by the case number, it also says "Closed".
