Two sets of Subtitles

I just bought both Daniel Craig bond movies. They have the same issue subtitles are doubled in Spanish. Some items translated are not text added to the movie. it actually translated the picture of the word London as well as info on the cell phone bond uses.

I just bought all the other Bond movies and noticed Spanish subtitles on From Russia with Love. As the title appeared the Spanish translation appeared on the bottom. I checked and the subtitles were off, I turned them briefly on and then back off and it seemed to correct the problem have to go through all the other movies to see if this problem is present anywhere else. I can confirm no problems with Dr.No, Goldfinger, or Goldeneye.

***** to hear that about the Indiana Jones movies, since I was considering getting those. The problem happened again with From Russia with Love, but just as before if I turn the subtitles on then off again the problem seems to go away. I wonder what is causing all these subtitle problems.

I'm having a similar problem, two movies in particular - Gnomeo & Juliet and Winnie the Pooh (2011). What's happening, is every time there's text on the screen, there are Spanish translations at the bottom of the screen. I contacted support, and they've been very unhelpful - as usual. They keep telling me to turn off the subtitles, but even if I turn them on to turn them off again, they're in a differet style text, and don't match what's appearing. It's so strange, that they only appear in Spanish, and only if there's a sign in the film, or credits - it's like they're translatin any text into Spanish.

I'm beyond frustrated, and am SUCH a huge Apple fan, and just can't figure out why their support is so lacking on the iTunes side. It's like they don't even bother to read the full description of the problem before replying with canned anwers.

the txt for sure is not a subtitle. I think there is a region problem. Because it translates images of words as well as pictures of txt on the phone in casino royale. And it translates the title of Indiana jones and the lost ark which is a picture and would never need subtitles.

Downloaded James Bond From Russia with Love HD the other day. Noticed subtitles from time to time as some have noticed on other movies. Wondering when this issue with this and other films will be fixed so that I can download the movie again without subtitles. I contacted Apple customer support, left feedback, and have gotten my money refunded, but I'd like the movie if I knew when it would be fixed. (Btw, I tried toggling subtitles on/off but that didn't work.) How can we know if/when Apple fixes this issue?

I am having a similar problem, however the text is not displaying at all. No spanish text or english text. This really destroys the film experience for me. When in Scotland and the introduction of the ship I have no text at all.

iTunes and Apple, please correct Prometheus Digital Copy. Its very poor service having issues with your digital copies and downloads. This is not the first problem I have encountered.

Sent a support to iTunes. Patiently waiting. For now, the movie still rocks

This happened on mine, too. I thought I was going crazy. Like the original subtitles with a greyed out bar subtitle on top.

Same thing happened here, very annoyed right now.

I have the same issue. If you want it resolved call the 800 number. My account was credited for the amount i paid for this as well as Prometheus which I was having issues.

PS still have the movies
