My iphone 5 sounds are low etc... lock sounds, tones?

Whenever i slide to unlock or lock the sounds are low, I have my volume all the way up and the sounds are very low still.

Also my text message tones etc.. are low on sound a little. Does anybody have the same problem?

iPhone 5, iOS 6

[Update]

Each time after using Siri the sounds are at low volume again, BUT after a few seconds (guess when the Siri process is determined automatically by iOS) the tones are back to the adjusted volume set in Tones settings.

When using MAPS and especially turn-by-turn navigation (with voice response) the sound issue is reproducible present. I guess this is caused, because voice response in MAPS is using Siri's Voice (Process) to give the according instructions. If not shutting down MAPS, somehow the Siri process is still working and causing the malfunction.

The only thing you have to do is shutting down MAPS. You don't even have to do anything else! No shutdown, no hard reset, no factory reset, no adjusting of volume...

Just open up the "task Manager" by pushing Homebutton twice. If MAPS is running, shut down the MAPS Process and wait a few seconds (about 10 seconds). Sounds are fine again!

This works fine for iPhone 4S with iOS 6.0.1

Anyone can confirm?

Wow nice find. This makes sense, as now that I think about it I only recall this issue occuring when I have the setting in voice options in maps to something other than "no voice" (i.e. no voice directions). I'll try to test this out on my iPhone 5 this weekend.

I can also now confirm this works for me too. Almost kind of humorous that of course it's the maps app that is causing this issue with all the other issues with this app.

For me, this issue was only occuring when connecting my phone to a bluetooth audio source. Now to correct, I no longer have to restart the phone. Yay!!

+1 Internetz for DFault

It's a software issue. Simple fix: Just double click the button at the bottom of your phone and it will show all your open apps. Then hold your finger on one of them and close all of them (no data will get lost). Once they are all closed, your phone volume will be loud and adjustable with the regular volume (ringer) levels on the side of your phone or via "settings." Hope this helps.
