can't "Review" my new apple ID account states invalis email address format??? WT heck?

Tried loggiung into iTunes with newly created apple ID (I have a new phone) and it states " You have not used this ID before aty itunes, Please Review"

So I accept the Terms and Conditions, Review my email address and password and security and DOB. Click next and it States" You must yuse a valid email address (for example mac@example.com)." Obviously thinking my email address is missing a character that makes it an email address. So it is just stuck here, and I can not download apps? Any help appreciated.

I got this working in the end..........not really sure what changed but options became visible at the bottom of the terms and conditions when i paged down after i had tried deleting the account resetting the password and spent about 5 hours on it

On my iPad (iOS 7), it doesn't say "No Payment" anymore. Go to Settings, iCloud, and with the account signed in, there is the Payment Information below the Storage Plan section. The Credit Card section has an option for "None." Hope that is what you were looking for.

Seems like the bottom line is that you have to have a credit card on file to receive gifts, which seems inane. I've got a verified email on an account and tried selecting "None" as the card type in payments, and still can't receive a gift (the giver gets that same error).

Kind of stupid. Why do I need a credit card to receive gifts?

I am having the same problem with my iPhone 7plus but without a credit card it's not letting me go forward. Still stuck in the "review" the error message I'm getting is "For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/.
