iPhone 5 Camera Horrible Purple Lines Down Pictures!

I have the same issue too.

Iphone 5 64 gb ios7 : when the connection is in GPRS mode i have purples stripes when i take photo.

It works perfect under 3G or wifi (or in airplane mode).

This is my second unit, the first was changed in june for the sleep/wake button not responding.

I hope is a software problem.

This got nothing to do with software if it would be software ios7 would have solved it it is because of ur usage too high and ur phone is not getting proper 2g connection and it is heated abd at a same time u use camera and camera could not take photos i think to belive its normal for all ip5

Sorry I am busy at the moment.

Well the phone camera has generally been a lot better since the iOS7 upgrade.

Once in a GPRS area I went to use the camera APP and it was all pink, so closed it then opened it again and it worked ok from then on.

I have not seen the lines for a while now and it seems harder to get them.

So things have improved for me but not 100% perfect, of course in 3G areas no problems at all.

If i see the lines again I will let you know.

I am telling when the lines appear in camera at that time do u notice the phone becomes hot...

Yes, I have noticed that when lines have appeared on the screen, the phone does get warmer.

As soon as you connect to 3G or Wifi, it cools down again.

Yup so i think may be the when it heats up it might be using the processor heavily so it can be that its made like that but we are telling that why apple is not telling anything about this lines its normal or abnormal......

And mate when u get this prob have u performed resitting the phone like holding home and power button at a same time and waiting for apple logo to appear..

I have mostly only quit the camera App and opened it again.

The phone has never been so bad that it requires a complete re-boot, however when I have done that, it has made no difference at all.

Like I said though, at the moment the problem is not quite so bad in a GPRS area and has improved since the recent updates, but not fixed.

U got flickering lines only in camera or somewhere else also u got it...

Only in the camera APP, nowhere else.
