Green glow on iPhone 5 unlock screen?

I've had my iPhone 5 for a few days now and I've noticed this issue more and more. Whenever I wake my iPhone there is a split second where a green glow around the edge of the screen is visible. It's a bit like light leakage but its green and only appears for a fraction of a second after you turn on the screen. It is also sometimes activated by using the slide to unlock, which makes it glow brighter.

Does anyone else have this happening with their new iPhone? I don't know if this is the start of a defect or not... I have had very rare graphical flickering and tearing of the keyboard UI, but that's only happened once or twice and only for a second, as soon as I started typing it went away.

It looks like this might turn into a trip to the Apple store, I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this weird phenomenon on their new iPhones.

I've just discovered something new, it doesn't need skin contact to create the green glow. I've just noticed it happening while taking it out of my leather sleeve case. The case doesn't have any electrical charge so it doesn't interact with the screen at all, but it still makes the screen glow... Makes this seem allot more like a hardware problem than software. Also, since the update, my screen is now as bad as it was before. I've just gotten used to it...

I've got the green glow around the bottom of the screen every time I turn it on. it glows from the bottom to around the slider and camera icon area. I updated to 6.0.1 and it is no different. I've also seen the screen glitch when prompted for my apple account password. Mine was much worse than the image shown earlier in this thread, my keyboard was unreadable when it happened. Looked like an old TV with static on the screen.

I may call apple store and see what they say. my phone is only 4 days old, I don't want a used replacement. I would prefer a new one.

here is a video of the green on my phone.

When it has been turned off for a while, and I turn it on, it's more prominent.

I am touching my hand to the screen rapidly to make it show up easier, and I'm not really hitting the phone or anything, just touching it rapidly.

at the end, I do turn it off and back on, and you can barely see it at the bottom. If I let it sit a little longer, it does glow more when I turn it on. Sometimes more than others. I guess my concern would be, with my phone not even a week old, will this progressively get worse over time? not sure.

I also checked my wife's phone, which is identical in specs as mine, and hers does not show any hint of green at all.
