Green glow on iPhone 5 unlock screen?

What we need is an official statement by apple whether this is an issue or if it is normal, if it's an issue: hardware or software.

I'd really like to know how many users have this issue.

I agree with woltek. The severity of the green glow in your video is a lot worse than mine, and I thought mine was bad...

I called Apple and described the issue. I emailed them the link to my video. They said it should definately not be doing that and sent a replacement via FedEx next day. I'll have it Monday. I will update once I get the new one.

Mine is nothing like that, but it only started since I updated from 6.0 to 6.0.1 via iTunes.

Did anyone try restoring and if so, does it help?

i think it gets worse if you do it with your wrist. it's probably a hardware problem .

i think the friction that makes the wrist with the gorilla glass electrifies the screen , that s the glow in my opinion.

i'm going for replace.

no offence, but I think you will find and realise it is less to do with anatomy, and more to do with surface area covered over the screen...

and as for getting a replacement.. as others have noted you might just get one with just the same problem. it's a lottery at the moment.

I have a tracking number for my replacement iPhone 5. It will be here Monday. I'm glad because mine is getting worse and bothering me more.

Every time I go to unlock it, I see the green. By moving my hand from bottom to top as in the video, I can almost make the entire screen green.

Apple support stated after seeing my first video, this is not normal and they immediately offered a replacement. I would suggest anyone with the same issue call asap and get a replacement.

I had 6.0 and updated to 6.0.1

But was this happening to you when you had 6.0?

Yes, same problem. I first thought 6.0.1

fixed the issue, but it is as bad as it was before.
