Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Since installing IOS6 on my Ipad3, autofill won't work in Safari. It used to fill my name and address. Please help!
I've enabled Autofill, switched off Private Browsing, turned off Block Pop Ups...it was fine till I began with IOS6.

iPad3 users have reported fixing this issue with a backup to iTunes/factory restore - BUT I've read no solutions for iPad2 like mine. I may try to restore to an earlier backup (from before I updated to iOS 6 - when the autofill worked). The friendly Apple phone tech said that may work. I had to ask her if they switched off autofill on purpose. Waited on hold while she checked with a supervisor - then was told she knew of no official change in the ios6 autofill function. Oh well.
BTW thanks for the Roboform idea.
Am i being naive to expect that it would be a great idea for Apple to scan these type of forums in the intests of Customer Care? ...surely they could then give us a straight answer? I STILL cant get it sorted .. Yep...Roboform is brill but I still want my Autofill back! Come on Apple...help us out here...PLEASE!?
