I pre-ordered my iPod touch 5 the day it was released for pre-order, and it's still on "Processing Items" while other people who only just pre-ordered them about a week ago see "Preparing for shipment?"

Wow. I can't believe this. I was one of the first people to pre-order and I still see "processing items" while other people who pre ordered their iPod touch 5s about a week ago see "preparing for shipment?" I'm confused and annoyed. Surely someone who preordered on the 14th of September should get theirs quicker than someone who pre-ordered on say the 25th of September. Don't you agree?


I'm shipping mine to Canada by the way. Surely someone in Canada who preordered theirs 11 days before an American, it should be the Canadian who gets it first? Aren't they being released to the US, Canada and several other countries on the same date?


I'm very confused and disappointed.

Thanks. I actually live in New Zealand, where the 32GB model is NZ$459 (CA$371 or US$376) and I ordered it to Canada because my mother is on a brief trip there to see her relatives, the thing is I really hope it arrives before the 14th of October, when she is due to fly back home. Otherwise our relatives will have to post it all the way to New Zealand, and that will take a few weeks to process and I have already been waiting 2 weeks!

I am extremely frustrated, I ordered on the 14th, still says processing. Have politely called twice, one time the person even told me to call back the next day to make sure it was shipped then...to no avail still not processed, not preparing to ship, and no answers! I ordered a 64gb, black/slate, anyone else in the same situation? Or have you received better answers to the question.

I am frustrated and am ready to cancel and just pick it up at my local apple distributor who actually has been providing better customer service than apple, and they don't have my credit card number!
