10.8.2 - Trackpad freezing - kernel[0]: AppleUSBMultitouchDriver::_deviceGetReport - DeviceRequest for reportID 0x0 returned with result 0xe000404f - retrying

I have almost identical problem, but on my integrated trackpad and Keyboard. and this is what i get in the logs :

My problem is fixed by doing the folowing :

open the terminal and run : sudo rm /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.telldus.service.plist

I spent some time at a Genius Bar yesterday. The tech told me that I was the fourth person she'd seen over the past few days with the same problem. She told me to sit tight because its a software problem and that Apple would be issuing a fix soon.

Thanks, this also soved my problem. I have been in contact with Apple support several times without success. The question for me is WHY does not Apple fix this, it is obviosuly something changed in an API somewhere and software that used to work causes the system to freeze.

Simply interacting with the trackpad after the device returns from sleep removes this message.

I'm also having this issue and have to plug in usb mouse and keyboard to get my $3000+ system.

I have to say Mountain Lion is starting to make me think I'd be better off moving to Windows. I've never seen Apple put out such junk in a while. APPLE We want a stable OS, not one that brings iPhone functionality to our computer. they are two different things, stop trying to make them the same!!!

I solved this problem by uninstalling isyncr (Detects my Android Phone on USB-Port an starts syncing Music).

The Error Message hasn't been displayd in the log for two days now.

Perhaps this problem occurs, when an application is polling USB Ports.

Just to add that this was my issue too (Isyncr causing the freezing). What I do is make sure that Isycr does not run as a log on item. I simply run Isyncr on an "as needed" basis.

My problem also went away when removing the telldus software. Really glad I returned the tellstick to the store. First of all it didnt work as it should and secondly it gave me problem with my MBP.

It's caused by Android-Driver..

I have been experiencing this problem and do NOT think it is a hardware problem. I can reboot the machine (without moving or disturbing the hardware) and the keyboard will work AFTER reboot. Then after some time the colsole will show these messages:

I recently installed Google Chrome.

What is the procedure to remove the Android Drivr mentioned in the previous post?
