App Store Not Loading READ HERE!! DO NOT RESTORE YOUR DEVICE!!

Hold both buttons until unit shuts down. When restarting hold both buttons but when apple appears do not release - keep holding until apple disappears and then reappears again. When you then release, the apple will stay lit for much longer than usual but will eventually move to your sign in screen. iTunes restored now. At least it did for me.

Thanks for info. I hope they will solve it, because as far as I noticed it is no only few users but a lot of them which are having the same problems with downloading apps. The icon do download is completely frozen and the message of waiting is permanent.

Mine is still not working. And I just lost it on my phone a few hours ago. I can't get into the App Store AND iTunes either. I'm very frustrated. I was hoping there would be an automatic fix by Apple because I do not want to do a restore on my iPad or my iPhone. Ughhhh!!!

it will work just go app store and tap on featured see if it comes up or tap on chart see if it comes up it worked fine for me i didnt have restore or do shut off and restart thingy it just worked when i tap app store and tap featured and it came up and i clicked on chart it came up too then i9 search something and it came up and worked and i went to itunes store and search for song it came up it works

It came back on my iPad. :) without me doing a restore. But it's still blank (Featured and Charts) on my phone. I will just wait to see what happens. It took a day for my iPad fix....lets hope it's only a day for the phone.

I have the ipad 2 (and updated to the new ios6) and for the last week I have not been able to get into the app store. At first I really didn't think much of it but when other people around me were able to get in on the same wi fi I realized something was wrong. When I was reading thru the forums one comment said something about backing the ipad up to the icloud and DON'T RESTORE. I connected my ipad to my computer to resync and changed the backup from my computer to the icloud. As soon as the sync finished I was able to get back into the app store. Thanks to the person who left that comment and I hope this can help anyone else who is having the same problem.

Well I tried every trick and suggestion that has been posted. I restored my iPad and the apps store was there. Th next day I went into the apps store and guess what.....it was gone again. Anybody else have anymore suggestions. Steve, does yours still show the app store?

There is only one solution: RESTORE. Than if it doesn't fix the apps, iTunes and iStore problems using your backup you will must to set as a new device. Done.

I have restored and it didn't work for me. I am so frustrated. I've tried everything. Any more news?

Been waiting for two days for apple to resolve this problem. I have also tried everything including a restore to no avail. Apple must be loosing a ton of App Store revenue if this many people are having issues. I have seen at least 30 different strings on this same issue ore similar. I will just keep waiting. Has any one noticed if the problem persisted if you connect to a different wi fi spot? I have an iPad 2 by the way.

Ok, after doing the two button push thingy that some have suggested (this was the 800th time I have done this), I plugged my iPad 2 into a wall socket because the battery was getting low. While plugged in, I did the two button push thingy again (what is the technical term for this anyway?), and voilá! Every thing is back and working. Not sure if it was coincidence or not plugging it into the wall, but I thought I would share. Good luck everyone.
