After I upgraded to Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.2 I can't print PDF files because the printer is unable to convert postscript files. I have updated the printer's driver (HP Officejet 6600) and installed the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. I don't know what else can I do. Any ideas are appreciated.

Guys,
Java gets removed during OSX upgrades.
After re installing java, I was able to print PDF's without getting the Postscript error.

The "Print as image" option did not work for me but installing java did work. Could someone explain why this would work? It doesn't make much sense to me.
Try opening your file using Preview instead of Adobe Reader and print, worked for me 🙂

Try printing using PCL print drivers. PCL is more universal than post script drivers.
Hi... had same issue this week.
Open the problem file in Preview and print it from there. Not as elegant as previously, but it’ll do until someone updates the relevant software.
