Apostrophe
This is weird, but is anybody else having a problem using the apostrophe?

Brilliant! That seems to have worked for me as well :-)
How do I mark your response to indicate you resolved the issue and get you the points?
Looks like unchcecking Edit>Substitutions>Text Replacement does the trick...the rest, if left checked, don't seem to cause any problem...
Thanks again! I'll re-check the others :-)
AWESOME (sung in waverly soprano tone)!! Unchecking all did it for me too. You're a genius. Appreciate you passing along your wisdom.
Thanks for this great thread. For the past 2 weeks I've been going crazy trying to work out what's been going on with my Keyboard!
In my case it seemed that typing a contraction with an apostrophe in the left half of a dialogue box caused my screen to scroll to the top. Pressing the space bar then caused it to scroll down again. When typing the contraction in the right half of a dialog box, my cursor would jump a character to the left.
Unchecking Edit>Substitutions>Text Replacement - fixed my problem too.
I can now type I've again 🙂
Is this a Safari bug or something else?
My problem happens mainly in mail. When I attempt to use an apostrophe in a contraction or in possession the cursor jumps to the start of the next line. I have to manually move it back to where I intended to use it. Help
