How do I lodge a complaint against Apple Support?

But his statement is correct about the 2 years, polakbob hasn't posted once since then so it is probably safe to assume he has moved on and your assurances will mean nothing to him.

Where you complain would depend on what your complaint is. Wish Apple would make some type of hardware? Send it here: https://www.apple.com/feedback/

Have a problem with a Genius Bar employee? Contact the service manager at the store.

You can also call AppleCare if it is a service issue and ask to be transferred to Customer Service.

These are user to user forums - you cannot expect a volunteer to answer within 3 minutes unless they know an answer to your question. We do not get paid and we are not Apple. I googled this for you:

Before you move on to Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. let me warn you in advance that if you drop your computer and break it they will tell you the exact same thing. Also, if you have an accident with your car and take it to the dealership and ask for it to be fixed under the warranty they will not do so. Warranties do not cover accidental damage just as a theft of your computer would not have been covered. I would never have considered asking for a computer that I broke be covered by warranty.

What I would suggest to you is when you buy your next laptop from what ever company (I would strongly encourage you to consider Lenovo over the other brands I mentioned) that you contact your insurance agent that handles your homeowners/renters insurance and add a personal property item to your policy that covers your laptop. If you had done this the policy would have paid for the repair/replacement of your laptop. While you are adding your new laptop also add the other MacBook Air you currently own.

What number does one call in Australia. I phoned a number given to me for Apple in Australia--was on the phone for 1&half hours-with the usual input of your call is important to us, but had to give up in the end. Never heard back from them.

So, I will suggest that you start a new thread in the appropriate forum and detail your question/problem - make sure you post all details incl. your model/year device and OS version.

I am also stuck here. Not receiving confirmation email for my order till I called them after 20 hrs. Also need help as I am misled by shipping dates vs delivery dates in the store website. The rep refused to escalate my urgent need for a replacement of my MacPro after it failed to start.
