IOS 6 - Listening to Videos with the screen off or in the background??

Is there any way to play a video or a music video on iphone 5 so that the audio plays in the background but you can multitask and do other things on the phone while listening? This is critical to how I use the phone. I was able to do this with IOS 5 but functionality was removed on IOS 6.

Please reply if you have found any work-arounds or know if Apple has plans to include this in the next update. It's very silly that I can't even listen to a music video or video while I'm walking about (turns off the second the screen shuts off or the phone is locked).

I use this option for about 12 hours a day, until it was removed.

I WON'T BE UPGRADING MY IPHONE 4 NOW, I may look at other Samsun/Android phones.

I have this issue with the "Videos" app. I found a workaround for YouTube videos using the "Mc Tube" YouTube app. It's great for videos on YouTube, but I still have no solution for the Videos app.

Third party youtubeplayers don't work either

Locked screen doe work, just multitasking is the problem

I'm so mad.

I used this feature so much, I was what I used the most out of my iPhone and now it's been taken away!

I can't see myself buying another iPhone unless this gets fixed.

Just download iTube from the App Store. It's free and plays videos from YouTube with the lock on

Download Xender app on apstore and itz the same way how you play music trough youtube
