Apple screws Ipad 3 customers with iPad 4

Well the simple answer to that one then is not to come into this thread, then you wont have that issue will you..Simples!!! 😉

What sort of reply are you expecting? Apple has a well-known return policy. It is on the Apple website, and it is available for you to read 24 hours a day. The functionality of the iPad 3 has not been affected, and it will be supported for several years, just as other discontinued Apple products have been. You are not entitled to either a replacement product, or financial compensation. Evidently, your mother and father have not prepared you adequately to deal with the vicissitudes of life. Stop using drugs. Don't smoke. Treat your objects like women, with love and respect.

Your response was totally uncalled for. I think it was patronizing. Any Apple customer has the right to have his voice/opinion and suggestions heard as long as he has not insulted anyone. I feel you did.

Your entitled to your opinion, however too bad for you that you'd be wrong. If you want to 'air out' your opinion then do it in a place where it's appropriate. THESE forums are strictly for technical questions. Apparently some of you can't figure that basic fact out, and so in light of that fact Carl said nothing wrong. I am in the same boat. Received my iPad 3 as a gift last week and now am told that I cannot return it. Unfortunate that the product I just received is end of sale and Apple will not offer me an option to swap like others. I am disappointed so far and have made 5 calls to Apple so far.

I have no issues with a return procedure, just have not been given that option.

It's not a matter of if. All you have to do is to read the Terms of Use to see that it IS in breach of their policy. End of story. It's not your place to second guess why Apple is making this exception. I have been coming here for almost a decade and this is the first time that I've ever seen them allow such nonsense on their technical forums.

If you do sit back & seriously think about it, you're vehicle/vehicles or any one's vehiicle emissions are emiting highly poisonus carbon monoxide fumes which is a killer .They do more damage to the climate & will cause more health problems for youre self and you're loved one's including mine more than me lighting up a ciggy in front of you or any one else.Yes smoking is a killer too but not any way near as mutch as exhaust fumes..Off topic but food for thought..

Nothing different to add really to everybody else...just feel I got absolutely screwed by Apple this time. No proble updating but for goodness sake at least give us a year.

I bought the original - skipped two and then bought version 3 six weeks ago in the uk....best advice is never upgrade....keep the original.

I wonder if Apple are going to listen be interesting if they can be honest and accept they made a mistake...it's not as if they need the money....I wonder if Steve would have done better.

I look forward to the next introduction and see if the boss can accept his mistake.....authentic leadership please!!!

Well up to now apple seems to be throwing a deaf one on this subject, it's been 8 days now and no response..By this they are obviously totaly avoiding the subject wether it be positive or negative.Guess it tells its own story really & sends one message. We had you're money good bye!!!..

Actually supporting the meat industry causes more damage than cars do. In case you didn't know it cows emit more carbon monoxide than cars do, which damage the environment, and of course meat everyday is bad for your health, but I digress 😁 Like I said smoke all you want, as long as it's not around me or my loved ones. I want to be around to enjoy iPad's 100th version 😉
