Apple screws Ipad 3 customers with iPad 4

Pls be more rational! You only see from you side, you said you just bought 6 months ago. Hay, that is nearly the day it came out! Pls see from my side, i just bought it one and half month ago, knowing the rumor about ipad mini! The rumor never mentioned about new ipad update and most of the new ipad owner except you bought the ipad knowing it would last at least another 6 months! Now, i gave high amount of money to buy such out-dated gadget! By the way, I am also selfmake man like you, but not rich as i am still med student! I do my homework kano237, but this time, i am really frustrated by apple! let see who is ignorant and who is logical! And i am out of this discussion!!!!!

I bought my ipad 3 in march and now is obselete... I just want to know why they completely remove it from the apple store.. You can only buy the Ipad 4th gen and the ipad 2 and the ipad mini... IM VERY UPSET becuase to me the ipad 3 is a mistake... otherwise the apple store will have the ipad 3 and the ipad 4 for sale..... Apple im a big fan of yours, now i will think twice before buying a product from you guys.. I feel cheated.....Tim Cook perhaps you should learn from Steve Jobs, at least he cared about his products and how to make apple customers happy... This is just a bad judgement from you Tim... You did not have to make people mad by releasing the ipad 4---- that one could of wait until january... "The ipad 3 is the best selling ipad"-- then you upgraded 6 months later!.. Tim Cook please tell me why I believe ipad 3 is a mistake?

I feel for everyone that brought the iPad 3. We all have our own stories to tell. some bought it when it first was released, others mid-way through it's life cycle, and the extremes a couple of days before the iPad 4 was released, like me. We've all been jipped, however people who have bought them from trusted Apple re-sellers are the ones I feel for. We have absolutely no leg to stand on. 😢

Do your iPad 3's work differently now that the new one came out? Based on your response, you should never purchase anything having to do with technology because there is always something newer and better coming out... You agreed that the product you bought was worth the money. Its the same product....

7 month upgrade cycle is way to short... that is the last time I buy a product from apple early. I warn anyone considering buying the ipad mini wait 6 months... then it will have the retina display and be vastly improved.

It would be one thing if they kept selling the Ipad 3rd generation but they have discontinued it, all the app developers will be making their apps take full advantage of the new speed and graphics and our 7 month old ipads will not be able to run them. I know this post will fall on deaf ears with Apple support, but they should really consider the customers and offer a solution to earlier supporters some sort of trade in, after all they are selling the ipad 3 as refurbished now.

no! however mine does not work on 4g in the uk! and never will due to it being on the wrong frequency found this out recently, as the uk's first 4g network is about to launch in 4 days time (no coincidence) the new ipad does now work with this 4g! This is why i'm ****** off not because the cpu is twice as fast etc.

i am a little ****** too that apple have discontinued the ipad 3 this shows there is issues with it and that apple got rid asap. Resale prices have already been dropping also.

However as i bought on launch day and the advertising over in the uk was that it was a 4g compatible device pre launch day and after right up to the 1st may 2012 when Advertising standards authority in the uk made apple change there claims on there site etc. i do not believe that apple can say no to swapping mine out under the false advertising law as in i didn't get what i paid for. a refund is the most likely outcome but then i'll just get the 4 anyway!! This is the only way i can see in the uk to get a swap out

thank you apple . our new ipads are only seven months old.all new ipad customers have paid more money for nothing. we want our money or credit back.

Absolutely this is my last iOS device, apple cheated on us giving as the New Ipad 3 (3rd gen) for beta testing, and they know that they will unveil their so called iPad with Retina Display (4th gen) as soon as 8 months.

I'm planning to buy ipod and iphone5 once they release their ios devices here in ou country, but after this I dont even think entering at apple store again even looking at their devices.

I was so disappointed with this, now you dont care for your customers.

I dont think apple will replace our outdated ipad 3 with this more improved ipad.

Btw theres 1 thing the I've learned, after the power button issue on my nano 6th gen, now this ipad4, I will never trust apple again, sorry for late SJ, but apple now dont care about their consumers.

I kept thinking why apple was so discrete with the ipad 4 but theres so many rumors with its ipad mini? Take note the iPad was their flagship tablet and not mini one.

See all the posts about iPhone 5 battery life (or lack thereof). Apple has no qualms about screwing customers or releasing products that aren't ready for market.

ITS HIGH TIME APPLE U SHOULD ANSWER TO THIS 'WHAT DO WE DO WITH ARE 3rd GENERATION IPAD'S'???????

I am shocked to see ipad3 removed from the sales. One day has gone past and apple cant answer to queries of millions of people who own an ipad 3rd gen. I live in india and i own an ipad 3gen and i am highly dissapointed by the release of ipad 4th gen.

fuzionip4ios4 did you have any luck with the store. I have just spoken with apple and they are telling me that the product was not mis sold and the ipad 3rd gen will be compatible with 4G once the UK networks catch up with what apple have released. Unbeliveable I am going to ASA with this one.
