False Water Damage Indicator

Help,

Was trying to get apple care on my Iphone 4. Only 20 days old from Verizon. Took it to apple and they said the indecator shows water damage. It has not been near water and have no ideal how this could happen.

There is no signs of water on damage anywere or signs of any thing else, this phone is in perfect condition, works like the first day out of the box.

Is there any thing I can do?

As I wrote earlier in this thread it is not unreasonable to have Apple examine the additional LCIs inside the iPhone.

The determination of liquid damage is still up to them, but it is reasonable to ask and have them prove to you that liquid damage was actually the cause. Even if you get no satisfaction from them, replacing an iPhone's battery is only $79.
