Facebook crashes when opening after opening. This is a result of the iOS 6.01 update. I am little surprised apple didn't test this as facebook is core functionality integrated into the phone now.

I don't spend that much time on Facebook, but I thought since I read this I would check. Well I went to Facebook and guess what? Mine crashed as well, twice. I was just browsing through it. I have an iPhone 4S and I HAVE NOT updated to iOS 6.0.1, still have iOS 6. Guess that means the update is not what might have broke things. Maybe that will keep me off Facebook for a little while??! 😁
Just done same on ipad3 as well.

I am also experiencing FB crashing. It started at about 11:30am and even after deleting and re-installing there is no change in the frequency of the crashing...which is each time I try to get to my page.
It inly started after I started to update my apps, it was working without issue before this time, and it is the first time I have ever experienced a crash since I received the phone and installed the FB app.
IPhone 5.
This is nothing to do with ios 6.0.1. I'm still on ios 6.0 and my Facebook is crashing after opening it. I've tried deleting and reinstalling and it does not help at all, as it still crashes.

Interesting as it was working for me earlier today on iOS 6.
Exactly, it is a Facebook problem, as it was working earlier, then stopped wether you have updated or not.
This issue has happened in the past. It's a FB issue and no need to delete and reinstall app. It will work again when FB corrects the problem.
Update 4pm eastern. Facebook is working again. For now anyway.
Problem seems resolved now with me doing anything! Is anyone else getting on ok now?
