iPod Nano 2012 FM Radio Quality Question

I have an old

Second Generation iPod Nano The Red One. It still works perfectly. but this Nano doesn't not include an FM radio. I would really like to be able to listen to the radio when I need idea's for new songs to buy off iTunes.

I want the absolute highest Quality Digital Tuner Possible that I can use with headphones.

Is there anyone who has bought several iPod Nanos and has the ability to compare to see if the quality has improved with each generation.

I would like as many peoples opinions as possible

The new Nano supports BLE in central mode - i.e- it can connect to BLE peripheral devices like sensors etc. This is how it has known compatability with the Wahoo BlueHR Heart Rate Monitor for example which is a BLE device. This is referred to on the Nano product page and the iLounge review as well.
