My 4s was fine till upgrading last night :(
I noticed it big time. My battery dies within 8 hours now :'(
Are you on 6.1 or 6.0.1 ?
I'm sure he's referring to 6.0.1. I am at least.
First thing you should do, is check all of your settings , like location services, notifications, etc . to make sure they havent changed.
I did the upgrade yesterday, have checked all the settings, nothing has changed and my battery is down to 30% after 2 hours without having even used it! Seriously causing problems for me because I need to use my phone a lot for work!
After two days mine magically started working well again! Battery was still 60% at day's end.
My battery life is terrible now. Is there a way to go back to 6.0?
it killing mine also i hate this upgrade every few months sellin 3 iphones going to android.
its probobly cause of the heat from ipgrding the battery life go's down quik when its to cold or hot, upgrading it might have heat it up wait two hours and then see (maybe not so helpfull thought)
Please don't try to give advice.
sorry just trying to see if that works, im a knew mac user, but i heard peaple talk about that's why the problem.😟
I am having the same problem and I am extremely frustrated. I started out this morning at 7:00 AM with 100% and have been using the phone for telephone calls only for about 3 hours and I am down to 33%. I am going to try and let the battery completely die out and then try a full recharge. Maybe that will help. However something in iOS 6.0.1 caused this problem.
I have an iphone 4 and have the same problem. Even turning off all pushes, notifications and icloud the battery drains twice as fast as it did before the update. I even changed mail account to fetch manually and it made no difference. You would think that Apple would come out with a fix or at least a statement to reassure us...
Mine drained to 0%, and then did a full recharge and now it's even worse than before. It went from 100% to 25% in 2 hours.
FIX IT, APPLE!!!!!! I need my phone for work and can't constantly be charging it!!!!!!!!!
I was getting half a day on mine. Did a couple of things. The reset all settings did some improvement. Then I set it up as a new phone, switched push off on email and set it to every 15 minutes, switched off bookmark settings and a couple of other things and the battery life is now at 25 hours standby with about 6 hours usage.
