Sync Outlook 2013 with iCloud under Windows 7?

An errror shows stating that Outlook does not have a default profile. I have tried deleting and re-installing the iCloud control panel and Outlook definitely has a default profile. Still, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I have Windows 8 and Outlook 2013. The new iCloud control panel does not work with the new OS or version of Outlook.

I really never expected it to work this soon, although the OS has been out a few months, so I'm not getting tied up in knots over this.

So I will just wait patiently. I'm sure Apple engineers are working on this one. Nice to have it sooner than later, but it'll get there.

I have 2 computers. One running Windows 7, and one running 8 Pro. Both with Outlook 2013. Both have the latest iCloud sync installed. Both do the same thing. Lock up and cause an error box that outlook needs to be repaired. After many attemps atbdifferent things, I thought I had it. But then noticed at the contacts were not updating.

Ttying to get it turned off was equally challenging.

I've struggling with this all day.

There is for sure a problem with the iCould sync program that needs attention.

Not a happy camper with Apple right now.

There is no iCloud sync, it is a subscription service that allows you to recieve data from the iCloud server, and it does not support Office 2013, yet.

The iCloud Control panel program on the PC. It's free, not a subscription service. I've been using it since before paying for iTunes match. It worked fine yesterday on Outlook 2012 on both computers. I upgraded to solve a problem with hotmail/outlook.com sync problem. 2012 does not natively support Active Sync. 2013 does.

So one problem solved, and replaced with another.

I don't know what you could have done, but I still have issues. I have a Surface Pro 128GB (please don't say that's my problem) running Windows 8 and Office 2013. It's Office 365 BTW. At one point Office was so screwed up and I was having so many issues with with the OS that I just went to a backup and restored the entire system. I can tell you I spoke to a friend that has a brand new Windows 8 laptop with Office 2013 and he is having the exact same problem.

I did not have any other Apple apps (like iTunes) on my computer. So that was not the issue. I have no idea how you were able to get this to work. But considering you did, I'm trying to figure out what makes your setup different.

I believe this is a known issue. I may have to wait for a fix from Apple, and if I do, so be it. Wish it worked for me. If there is anyone else out there with the same setup as I have and you got it to work, please let me know. Thanks.
