Sync Outlook 2013 with iCloud under Windows 7?

An errror shows stating that Outlook does not have a default profile. I have tried deleting and re-installing the iCloud control panel and Outlook definitely has a default profile. Still, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Take the time to properly troubleshoot the issue, and it will work.

I was one of those it didn't work for until the latest iCloud Control Panel was released. I use Windows 7 with Outlook 2013 (I've used Outlook 2013 since RC).

You have to uninstall the old iCloud Control Panel first and install the latest version. The latest iCloud control panel references the proper Outlook Registry entries.

The most drastic thing that may need to happen is a full uninstall and reinstall of Office 2013 to get it to work. Install office first, then iCloud.

As an aside, I see your still as snarky as ever, Csound1.

And happy to see that you are as inaccurate.

Or maybe everyone posting about this not working is making it up?

It's most likely just software configuration differences.

I can't comment because I haven't seen this thread active since Dec 3 when someone said "iCloud 2.1 released" and everyone who had troubles in it left.

Like I said, you, with your ***** attitude, probably aren't helping them troubleshoot properly. I imagine it's hard to do when all you want to do is **** on the world and you think everyone below you is a *******.

Anyways, I can confirm that Winodws 7 and Outlook 2013 works. I can't say whether Windows Vista/8 and Outlook 2013 works, but I know that 7 and 2013 does. If it doesn't work for a user, then there may be something interferring with it, and I'd recommend an uninstall and reinstall of Outlook and iCloud. Pain in the ***, but it might work (install iCloud control panel after Outlook. Dont install any extra plugins until iCloud is installed. Some antivirus software puts hooks into Outlook that cause problems).

Also, I had to uninstall the old iCloud before I could get the new iCloud to work.

Do you assume that I care what you think about my attitude?

Dream on.

If you can help others offer some advice, at this point you are just background noise.

Nah I just assume you're an angry little man who comes on to these forums and spews his bad attitude all over it. Every post I read of yours, you're belittling the person who is asking for help. I find it hard to understand how you haven't been banned, and how you have so many "points".

Perhaps at one point you were good at helping people solve their problems, but you let fake internet points get into your head, and now you're just an angry lonely jerk.

And as for "If you can help others offer some advice, at this point you are just background noise", you obviously haven't read either of my two points, as I've provided some suggestions. Also, I took a look through these forums, and don't see anyone reporting this issue lately.

Perhaps you need to just step off, get some excersie, go meet some people, get a job and get out of your mom's basement.

Nah I just assume

Assumptions again huh.

I get the points for answering (correctly) the questions asked by posters, it is the same reason that you have no points at all.

Anyways, whatever. I'm not having an internet argument with a 40 year old living in his mom's basement.

That is the first time you have been correct.

Hmmm, that does explain a lot. Why you're so angry, and why you're on these forums at all times of the day.

You need remedial comprehension lessons

You said:

I said:

And you found the opposite meaning.

When you understand English I will consider your posts, until then ......

Just because it doesn't have official support for Office 2013, doesn't mean that 2.1 didn't resolve the issues with it.

Also, the screenshots you took there that have dates, all have dates before Dec 3 (which is when this thread died and when 2.1 was released).

So, show me a post of someone having the issue after Dec 3, or better yet after Dec 20 when 2.1.1 was released, and then you have a leg to stand on.
