Can't search anything in App Store!! Help!!

Hi, I am using an iPad 2 and every time I try to search something it comes up with an error message (cannot connect to App Store) featured is fine and top rated is fine and I can download stuff but if I try to type anything in and search it.. It just doesn't allow it.. I have reset network settings turned it off and on.. Signed out of iTunes and back in.. Changed the date and time several times to different years and back and I have held down the home button and the lock button for 10 seconds until the apple symbol came up.. And still cannot connect to App Store when searching.. I updated my iPad to IOS 6.0.1 this morning and was able to search after but several hours later nothing! Is there anything else I can do?

This very simple solution found on www.macworld.co.uk worked for me. Hope it solves it for more people!!

Refresh the App Store connection

If you're sure that you're connected to the Internet, it's time to clear the cache and refresh the connection to the App Store. It's fairly easy to do, too - all you need to do is open the App Store, tap on the Updates tab and repeatedly tap the Updates icon in the bottom-right hand corner. Once you've done this around ten times (you have to do it quickly too) the App Store should refresh and take you to the Featured page, all connected and ready to be browsed.
