Sides of video are cropped when exported from FCP7

Quick 5-second that has a large JPEG ( 4000x2225) graphic. When the video is exported the sides are cropped by about an inch on each side. In the preview window the image appears fine and the crop only shows up after export.

Is this an issue with the size of the picture?

Ok So i said it kind of confusing, For a dvd Im exporting it quicktime movie then i have it on current settings and i have make movie self contained checked in the box.

So when i export like this from FCP the sides of the clip get chopped a slight bit. When i watch it in quicktime player the sides are chopped.

I did what you said and took the quicktime movie i exported and put it back into fcp like you said and it looks the same way as the raw file the sides are not chopped off. Why is quicktime player chopping the sides off?

But ok I took the quicktime movie i exported and put it into compressor and compressed it for dvd, I then took the compressed split audio video file and put them into dvd studio pro and burned them onto a dvd. I put the dvd in the player and watch the clip on my tv once again the sides are cut off. Note im playing the clip on a hd tv and it is set to normal on tv so it should show the whole frame not like a regular sd tv that cuts off the sides a bit.

Im going to post some screen shots also, if anyone can help me it be much appreicated!

notice the chopped sides on hd tv, it should be showing the vignetting from the fisheye on the corners.

Notice this is the same tv but someone else put it on dvd for a edit notice the sides are not chopped at all the full vignetting is stil there you can fully see the person on the right side of frame not like above one

note im using quicktime movie

note this is the raw footage in the timeline notice how the vignetting is fully there.

note this is the same clip but exported in fcp quicktime movie and put back into the timeline after being exported it is the same size as the raw one,

<iframe src="https://www.flickr.com/photos/77654624@N08/12939028963/player/7131680587" height="478" width="500" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen oallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen></iframe>

Since i exported the clip and put it back into fcp and it is the same size as the raw un edited clip, my question is why are the sides being chopped when burning it onto dvd? On the tv it should show full frame because it is hd tv set to normal it should show it like it does in fcp

Im really confused at what is happening any help is much appreciated thanks
