iPad mini verizon won't activate

Imei number not in verizon database. Any ideas

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion, i7 16mb

I too can't get my iPad Mini to activate on Verizon. I was on the phone 2 1/2 hours Thursday night with verizon and got no where. I took the wait path and have rebooted a few times and still not on the network. Is it just a waiting game? Verizon says everything looks good. I called Apple techinical support and they said they haven't heard of any problems.
