I have recently downloaded a number of plugins for iTunes. I have installed them in the (i think) correct place! When I restart itunes as instructed I am supposed to find a plugins section within the visualizations section. I cant!!!!
What am I doing wrong!.....
Thanks in anticipation
Jim
ps. itunes is ver 6.0.4(3)
OSX 10.4
The only way to get some Intel-native apps (universal binaries) to work with non-Intel ones (non universal binaries) is to force them to run under Rosetta which can be done in the Get Info window for the app.
Can you explain a little more? For instance, I highlighted Real Player's app icon and looked in Get Info, but didn't see anything about Rosetta.
You did the right thing, but you will only see the Rosetta option in programs that are universal binaries, that is, those that will run natively on the Intel Macs. Look at Safari or iTunes, for example. The running universal binary apps under Rosetta will let them see plugins and apps that are not made to run on Intel Macs.
That's interesting... I see the "Open in Rosetta" option for Safari - but not for iTunes, even though it says iTunes is a "Universal" app in the Get Info box. Oh well.
