Can't update from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2

We are upgrading our Macs to Mac Minis in our office. I have currently set up at lease 6 of them and upgraded from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2. The mini I am currently working on does not display the 10.8.2 upgrade in the app store. The iPhoto update is displayed but won't install because I do not have 10.8.2. I have downloaded the 10.8.2 combo and the 10.8.2 but it won't load. the message is "the volume doesn't meet the requirements for this update". This is the same machine as the others I have just updated. They are all brand new. Please help!

Apple removed the update from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2 today!

The combo updates are for the earlyer macs, but the 2012er versions have a special 10.8.2 build,

i tried to download the special combo update for my mac mini 2012 but the download link

from apple is removed too!

i think we should wait 😟

Frankly Apple after Steve Jobs is a mess. Thousands of late 2012 mac mini customers are complaining about not being able to update the new mac mini and Apple is incapable of coming worth and giving us some explanations. They are only busy now firing each other instead of taking care of consumers. When a company become big it also becomes greedy and tends to underestimate the very consumers who made them rich. Is it the beginning of the end for apple?

-buggy maps

-buggy updates

-dropping optical drive in the desktop imac in the name of thinness.(nobody carries an imac on his shoulder)

-Sodding all the components together

-can't increase the amount of ram by yourself anymore unless it is a BTO

-engineers getting fired

these were just a few examples of Apple losing the sense of direction.

S.O.S please can somebody save our beloved Apple 'Cause it is getting rotten within?

IMO you're being a bit over dramatic but everyone's entitled to their opinions.

And to everyone here:

In the inimitable words of Douglas Adams,

DON"T PANIC!

That being said, also don't assume that the entire resources of the company are being used to fix this issue which only affects a tiny portion of their users. And I also wouldn't expect the fix to come out too quickly as that to me would indicate that not much testing was done to see if the code changes being incorporated don't have any nasty unintended consequences. How much time do you think they spent on testing the final build of the 10.8.2 that got pulled? I assume you'd agree that it apparently wasn't enough. Do you want them to spend even less time on a corrected version? And even though I say all that, I too am reading every update to this thread and checking software update every chance I get, hoping that it's out too. I want to play with my new toy and I can't. But for me luckily, it's just my new toy and not my new business tool that I rely on for income. Those are the folks that I feel bad for. Next I feel bad for newcomers to the Mac fold who are getting a sour first experience.
