Since i got my iPhone 5 my twitter notifications have not been coming up in the notification centre, i have all the correct settings enabled, have tried unistalling etc, tried under different accounts, just doesn't work! If i receive a tweet i just don't find out about it until i manually check the app.
iMessages and emails are being pushed to me fine and show up in my notification centre.
Any help please?

This is happening to me too. Facebook and Twitter notifications are not appearing. I upgraded from the 4S to the 5 yesterday. Facebook Messanger works. I do not think my Mail works.
I also have the same problem but with facebook also. i upgraded from 4 to 5 on the 16th Nov. its annoying have to check your mentions just to check. My iMessagaes and email come throught fine.
aaargh same here...we really need a solution 🙂 I thought I'm the only one. But I have only problems with the twitter notifications. I upgraded from 4 to 5 yesterday too. It was working with iOS 6.0 but not with 6.0.1 - I hope they improve it soon.
Having similar issues. Twitter and Facebook will not push notifications to iPhone 5 (iOS6.0.1). iPhone 4S and iPad Mini however are not having the issue (same version of iOS). Also all settings have been triple checked and multiple combinations used. This is really, really annoying and seriously disrupting by regular work flow.
I still haven't managed to resolve my problem. Have realised it is also facebook too. Its strange cos my friends with iPhone 5's aren't having this issue, but clearly some people are.
Currently using the echofon app which will alert me when i receive a tweet.

I am having the same issue. I have notifications turned on in System Settings AND in Twitter App settings. However, Twitter turns the notifications off in the Twitter App.
If anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE let me know.
Had to replace my iPhone 5 and with the new one I'm not getting twitter notifications. With the first iPhone 5 twitter was working but not facebook, now none of the 2 work.

My facebook notifications have suddenly started working. Twitter and Find my Friends are not working. This is really, really annoying. Apple needs to do something right away.
Hey all I originally posted on the 18th about me having the same issue. But 1hour ago I've started to get notifications back for twitter. I never changed my settings they just randomly started to work have not tried Facebook yet.
I am having the same issues. Twitter notifications will never appear and Facebook notifications do randomly. Is there really no solution to this yet?

iPhone 5 is my first iPhone and I'm having the same issues with Twitter and Facebook. This is causing a lot of trouble and it's more annoying than I could have ever imagined. I'm going to try and get a new phone tomorrow and give it another shot, if not, I'm switiching back to my old device...
I'm having this problem but only with Twitter notifications. Facebook and mail work fine. All notifications are turned on. I agree, it is rather annoying having to open up the app each time just to check any mentions, DMs, etc. I'm also using Verizon but I've heard this happening to people on different carriers as well.
I just swapped with to a brand new iPhone 5 and still not getting any notifications. My friend got hers at the exact same time as mine. Hers is a 16gb and it's working fine, maybe it's because mine is a 32gb? Regardess, frustrated and hopefully there will be a fix soon.
