Since i got my iPhone 5 my twitter notifications have not been coming up in the notification centre, i have all the correct settings enabled, have tried unistalling etc, tried under different accounts, just doesn't work! If i receive a tweet i just don't find out about it until i manually check the app.
iMessages and emails are being pushed to me fine and show up in my notification centre.
Any help please?

The notifications within the app have turned off. Open twitter and go to the 'Me' tab, then go to the cog icon below the number of tweets you've sent, press settings then go to notifications and change the settings back to 'On'.

Thats the first thing I did, but I dont get any alert notifications from Twitter - all set to ON even in Lock Screen, but I only see the tweets when I enter the app on my iphone ! ðŸ˜
Tried again today, tweets come through in twitter app but no notifications...
Could someone please provide all necessary steps in brief so that I can check all general and twitter settings again.

even the echofon app doesnt deliver push notifications!? ðŸ˜
You have to turn on notifications for each person you follow: Me > Following > click on person > click the cog > turn on notifications. Repeat for next person following. Hope that helps.

Its been a while since i last posted on here.
Just an update to say that i now get the little red icon appearing on the top right hand corner of the twitter application logo when i receive a tweet or any type of notification.
Not sure why this started working,but happy that it did.

I think i may have the solution for you all!! (Hopefully)
I've had the same problem (Twitter not pushing notifications)
First thing i done was go to twitter on desktop, and Delete all location information (Under settings > Security And Privacy) give it 30minutes. (you should now be able to edit if it was stopping you before)
Then go to your twitter app, settings notifications and turn off all notifications. Save all, quit the app.
Now go to notification centre on the iPhone/iPad settings, turn off everything for twitter.
Restart your phone.
Turn on iPhone/iPad notification settings.
Open Twitter, turn on all notification settings.
It should now be working!! 😀 Well atleast it did for me!
