Since i got my iPhone 5 my twitter notifications have not been coming up in the notification centre, i have all the correct settings enabled, have tried unistalling etc, tried under different accounts, just doesn't work! If i receive a tweet i just don't find out about it until i manually check the app.
iMessages and emails are being pushed to me fine and show up in my notification centre.
Any help please?

same thing is happening to me.. but I have an iphone 4. It's really bugging me because I use twitter practically everyday of my life.. haha. Does ANYONE have a solution besides checking my notifications center? I've already done that and everything is on and my twitter app notification settings are on as well. I've tried turning my phone on and off and deleting/redownloading the app but nothing is working. I guess the next best thing to do is to get texts from twitter any time someone replies or mentions you. This is frustrating!!!!
I thought I was the only one having this problem. I just got the iPhone 5, and notifications for twitter and Facebook both don't show up and it drives me crazy cause I have all the settings on for the both apps.

I noticed your question i am having the same issue as your self what i did to reslove that was delete my twitter account details on my iphone 3gs then re-log back in and that seemed to reslove that issue the other problem i am having is that my Push Notification seeting is not working for Twitter on ios6.1

I've just bougt iPhone 5 with 6.01, installed Twitter, set up notification correctly and it dosn't work. I can parallel compare all sets into my old iPhone 4s with 6.01 where everything works well and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong?

We are aware that some iOS users are not receiving push notifications. We are working on a fix.
Fingers crossed this starts working soon. I seem to be getting some tweets now but its not working all the time...
That's great and all but implies this is an issue with twitter. Clearly others are having issues with many apps (including myself and including Find My Friends, which is an apple app). This is an iOS issue.

Today I switched off my iPhone 5, turned it back on and the notifications worked again!
Yeah that's not the same issue we're all having. This issue has been ongoing for weeks and seems iOS6 specific.
Like many I also have the problem in not receiving twitter notifications
I have spent a considerable amount of time checking and re-checking all the settings.
This is my first iphone having moved from a rival operating system.Twitter worked perfectly on my last smartphone,so right now I feel a tad disappointed at the moment.
Just to clarify my situation My iphone 5 receives twitter updates,yet does not generate an audible and visual alerts.(Banner)

Hey! I've just got my twitter notification (iPhone 5 IOS6.01) too! But I didn't do anything, that just started working. Intresting is mу old iPhone 4s IOS6.01 doesn't work yet. Hmm...
I think they did something during the night. This morning the phone was asking me to re-enter my iCloud password.

Can you just confirm that your "alerts" and "banner" notifications are working.
I am getting twitter updates from twitter to my iphone, but the "alert" notification function on my iphone fails to function.
I have the same iphone 5 and IOS version as you.
I'm still not receiving any notifications for Twitter and I'm only receiving a few from Facebook, not all of them.
