used aperture 3.

why can't i import photo from iphoto??? as u can see the menu iphoto library is cant higlighted. any suggestion?

and when the suddenly the usage of my ram isss boooommmm,,, it;s about 1,5 gig- 2gig just for this aperture,,, im using 8gig ram and this aperture left me just 1g free memory T_T


is editing in aperture consume soo much ram??

Aperture will take all RAM it can get to speed things up, yes, if it is doing adjustments, than can profit from caching the image versions in the RAM. If you invest in RAM, you can speed up Aperture considerably, when you are working with large raw images. And what would be the use of having 8GB of RAM, if your applications did not use it to your advantage?


But Rumi, what is your current Aperture version? Have you upgraded to AP 3.4.3? The previous version had a bug - on some systems - that it occasionally did not release the memory again after allocating memory. In that case I'd suggest to upgrade to the most recent version.
