iPad mini headphone jack doesn't work

It works by "reset" a hard press on the power until "apple" logo comes out, then turning it back again. thanks guys! Effective info I got here! It works and relieve my worries now..

Thanks for submitting this problem! I too had the same issue with my iPad mini and my headphone jack and when I did a hard reset viola it worked!

yes. Restart solve the problem. But atleast 3 times a day restarting is not a correct solution. Its seems a software problem concern with apps. But dont know what apps make this problem((

The same problem happened to me all of a sudden. I was quite worried but I just powered off my iPad mini and it was working just fine after I turned it on.

This did not work for me every time I pit music on and I had a pair of earphones in it would still come out of the speakers

The hard reset worked for me too. I thought the headphone jack was broken
