hi! as i mentioned, I sync my A780 to scheduleworld.com through SyncML OTA and then, from scheduleworld.com i download the contacts as Vcard3.0 which are automtatically imported into Apple Addressbook. A roundabout way, but I upgrade my phone more often than my Apple Addressbook, so it works fine for me.

as per this post:

GSM Remote worked wth the A780, recognising the contacts in the SIM card, but not on the phone. maybe a future release...

please let me know if the syncML client in the MING worked for anyone?

i don't think you can drag it to the bluetooth icon. what you can do is open bluetooth file transfer, connect to device (your phone) and then dragging files to the icon in the dock will transfer them.

but it's actually easier to click the contact name in address book and choose "send card" from the card menu.

I'm still exploring syncing possibilities for this. Can anyone point me to good resources on the web for more applications that will run on it?

OK so I have figured it out. You can send Contact from the Address book to the Ming by clicking the Bluetooth button on the address book first. the phone will ask for a dialup gateway. Press accept. then selecting the cards you would like to send and then go to the card menu in the top dopdown bar and select send card. the Bluetooth Window will pop up and select the Ming.
