i have an account in hong kong store and an account in canada. i have applications purchased in hong kong store but can not update in the canadian store. i logged into my hong kong account but it seemed still linked into canadian store. how can i switch to hong kong store truely?
why apple is creating such country regional issues for the customers?...

I believe it is all to do with the licensing of Apps and music from the various holders of rights. Not something you can easily do something about even for a business the size of Apple.

It could be that the time limit setting on your iPhone was still within its set time and thus not requiring you to log in a password yet.
