I ALWAYS used Cover Flow when playing from my song list, which was 95% of the time. Deleting Cover Flow was a TERRIBLE DECISION, Apple. Sounds like some folks have found a way to reinstall 10.7, and I'll be looking into that option immediately. Wish I knew about this before I upgraded (moments ago). I should have made a copy of my old version before upgrading. If Apple no longer allows the download of 10.7, I'll have to get it off my backup. Sheesh. This is just pathetic, Apple - a BIG screw up...

I watched the new video on the iTunes 11 page and noticed Cover Flow is gone. What a disappointment! I preferred a partial list view with Cover Flow, like others probably did too. I will check out iTunes 11 on my external drive with Snow Leopard, just for fun, but I will not be replacing 10.7 on my main drive. I used the feeback page to say what a mistake it was to remove Cover Flow, and I would not recommend the upgrade to anyone. You can restore the sidebar and status bar at the bottom by reselecting them in the View menu. I don't think the removal of Cover Flow has anything to do with the patent lawsuit in 2010, because the judge reversed the decision in 2011. I think this is just Apple's way...just as they ruined iMovie from the complete overhaul from iMovie HD 6 to iMovie 7.
