You can change the album art from your clipboard by right clicking on the album pressing "get info" and then go to the section for the artwork then press (cmnd + p MAC) or (ctrl + p windows) it will paste your artwork from your clipboard then save your changes by pressing done at the bottom
It appears so.
I can't find it so I went back to iTunes 10.7
They had a beautiful looking jukebox thing like cover flow and they've got rid of it? . . . I'm staying on 10.7, thanks for the heads up!
No problem.
First they removed Front Row, now the Cover Flow.
I use a 55" Sony connected to my Mac Min for my entertainment center.
Without Cover Flow, the iTunes experience using and viewing the Album Artwork was pathetic.
To me not having cover flow which looked as beautiful as a jukebox is a total downgrade, a step backwards!
I have to agree with that. I like a lot of things in the new iTunes, but Cover Flow is a major omission.
Well ... You can only make things so much better & more advanced before they turn the other way and go backwards again! đ
**** right! I miss already coverflow. If I wanted this I would've gone to winamp! It's not as if it hoggs less memory without it after all >_> I guess I have the install of 10.7 somewhere or I'll just jump back to winamp.
Ridiculous and awful decission.
i really like the new itunes 11! it looks so much better than previous versions,is easy to use and the new expanded view is an awesome feature... but removing cover flow instead is a bad decision!! maybe we get it back with a further update?! it was so cool to browse through playlists using cover flow đ
I miss Cover Flow too! Evreyone go HEREand reqest that it be added back to iTunes.
Ben,
Even that page is outdated.
The newest version you can choose to report on is 10.6.3
People seem to be slipping at Apple if they can't even update the pages to report feedback.
I noticed the version has not been updated so I entered it in the title. Just did not select a version from the dropdown. Go and do it anyway. Sure hope they fix this.
I ALWAYS used Cover Flow when playing from my song list, which was 95% of the time. Deleting Cover Flow was a TERRIBLE DECISION, Apple. Sounds like some folks have found a way to reinstall 10.7, and I'll be looking into that option immediately. Wish I knew about this before I upgraded (moments ago). I should have made a copy of my old version before upgrading. If Apple no longer allows the download of 10.7, I'll have to get it off my backup. Sheesh. This is just pathetic, Apple - a BIG screw up...
I watched the new video on the iTunes 11 page and noticed Cover Flow is gone. What a disappointment! I preferred a partial list view with Cover Flow, like others probably did too. I will check out iTunes 11 on my external drive with Snow Leopard, just for fun, but I will not be replacing 10.7 on my main drive. I used the feeback page to say what a mistake it was to remove Cover Flow, and I would not recommend the upgrade to anyone. You can restore the sidebar and status bar at the bottom by reselecting them in the View menu. I don't think the removal of Cover Flow has anything to do with the patent lawsuit in 2010, because the judge reversed the decision in 2011. I think this is just Apple's way...just as they ruined iMovie from the complete overhaul from iMovie HD 6 to iMovie 7.
Looks like Apple is moving more to the iPad iOS interface, it has no cover flow. The iPhone still has it. If it is removed from the iPhone I guess it is gone forever. I will be greatly disappointed!
