iTunes 11: why can't show album artwork preview of songs that is not currently playing??!!

I'm so tired of reading people complaining on this post trying to say that their music libraries is completely screwed because they don't have their little square image on the corner.

It's not that I'm trying to make a point that it is a bad change or not, my point is that everyone is loosing their time complaining on an user-to-user forum. No one here could help complaining people about features a software will or will not have. It have been said many time on this post that comments/suggestion/feedback MUST be directed to the FEEDBACK page in order to be of any use. If you are many, Apple will change it... If you aren't so many to send feedback, at the end it will still mean that majority was thinking different.

For DJGI, if you want an album view, select it on the new top bar and enjoy the view. No user could bring artwork viewer.

What is sad is there are a lot of tips on this post that are now hidden between people complaining.

Changes are to be expected and tried between major release. The intent on iTunes 11 is to make it more alike its iOS. WHETER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, at some point, it's irrelevant on a users forum. The initial intent of this post was to find if there was indeed a way to show currently playing artwork. Indeed, there are 2; small one in the playing info and click on it, you got a large one. If you don't like it, tell Apple on the feedback page. If you don't, you are not helping improvement.

Again, don't reply to me that your 1000000 songs are screw up because of this and that it is innaceptable. That's not the point here. It is an opinion to wether you like it or not and that simply not the place to express.

If you guys really want to publicly complain; simply start a thread about it and mark it not as question to other users. It's bad that users have to pass over so many complaining people to find some piece of information.

It's not a matter of 'looking at artwork,' it's a matter of using that artwork as a visual cue to organize albums.

I do have the same frustration but I directed it to the feedback page.

I'm defending Apple, I'm trying to defend a user forum. If you question that other can help go ahead. If you have technical issue go ahead. If you want to say that you like or miss some stuff, man start your own post that's all. Only interested people will go to it. That's why you create a post and not mark it as a question.

Users is taking time to answer question. It's really a matter of placing the comment in the right place in order to help.

I found a previous version of itunes installer kit in my download folder from when I downloaded itune 10.7. I am now installing this version to actually have a user-friendly version of itunes that I actually understand.

This is crap. I constantly reference material by artwork in the 'artist/list view' AND bit rate.

What is the part all of you complaining doesn't get in "a-user-to-user-forum"? What is your motivation to add pages and pages of complaint on a forum were only user can try to help? The only place where you should all use your complaining energy is here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html. The more you guys will understand this, the better your chances are to get this feature back.

Keep a forum for information that will help other and focus your feedback to Apple, not the opposite.

By the way musicbymicah, select music and artist view and you all set. Right click on any column title and add the bit rate.

Before you judge what others are doing, make sure you know what you're talking about. Just because we vent frustration here doesn't mean we haven't done it elsewhere

I have added my complaint as well, hopefully they bring it back soon.

What makes you believe they respond to items on the feedback page any more than they do on the user forum?

The intent of the Feedback Page is to listen to the Voice Of Customer.

The intent of this forum is to let Users help other Users.

It's not about my beleives, it's all written; 2 differents things for 2 differents objectives.

Wether or not Apple is using the content of this forum to drive improvement can only be speculation. However, Apple is giving you an official channel to express your feedback which is up to you to use. Yes, I do indeed beleive that they value feedback.

I'm working in continuous improvement in manufacturing industries for several years and yes, I do beleive that companies are listenning to their customers because, if they don't, they will simply not last.

The Branched discussion for this is locked...

But one other thing I did not see mentioned here is some us the artwork for some us is MULTIPLE PAGES...with CD jacket Inserts Disc Scans or Bonus artwork... but itunes only display the first page of artwork of the song playing....To read The artwork You now have to get info and copy it to an external image viewer to zoom in to read anything that is on page 2+ of artwork for any given song.
